Students Snap Up Highly Regarded Trainee Manager Jobs at Millennium Hotels
03 December 2020
Meet PIHMS students Britney Cox, Jessica Holt and Louisa Wallace (pictured left to right). All three are graduating with our Bachelor of Applied Tourism and Hospitality Management degree this month.
The HR team from Millennium Hotels and Resorts came to PIHMS and interviewed our students here on campus. All three girls secured positions with Millennium Hotels and Resorts as Trainee Managers, starting in January 2020.
Louisa – how have you found your time at PIHMS?
I have found my time at PIHMS very rewarding and I am very appreciative of the opportunities studying here has brought me. PIHMS has been a great environment for learning as everyone is so friendly and supportive and I have been able to make lifelong friends while being here. I have also had a lot of fun while studying and travelling while on industry placement.
Jessica – what has been your favourite part of the degree?
My favourite part of degree would include completing the course alongside all my friends at PIHMS, as well as all the great opportunities and experiences that PIHMS has provided me that I would not have gotten anywhere else.
Britney – how do you feel PIHMS has helped you secure a trainee management position?
Not only the fact that the PIHMS qualifications are respected in the industry, but also the more hands on experience helped me secure this position. Industry connections are a huge bonus, throughout the first two years of studying at PIHMS I had worked for two 5-star hotel(s) and resort(s) in Australia providing me with great references and industry connections to kick start my career after graduation.
Congratulations!! The Trainee Manager position is highly regarded in the industry and we are very proud to have 3 of our students secure this invaluable opportunity.
