Practical training

Students run PIHMS as a fully operational hotel. So you’ll be both a hotel guest and student, learning to operate the various departments of a hotel and to manage different business aspects of the hotel industry.

As well as academic study, you’ll gain real experience from hands-on learning. From day one, you’ll live and study in a hotel atmosphere. During the live-in semesters, you’ll take on a number of hotel management responsibilities. From guest relations, front office management and food and beverage to housekeeping and property management, you’ll gain real experience in all aspects of hotel management.
